Around the World in 80 Days
Just noticed this on my TripIt page (a website that everyone should use, even if you only take a trip once a year.) It organizes all of your reservations (air, car, hotel, etc.) into one unified page so that you can print out everything together (and not have separate sheets of paper all over the place). It also puts in weather and a brief city guide link for your cities. All you have to do is (after you register) is forward your reservations to plans@tripit.com and it populates everything for you. You can sync with your calendar (i.e. Outlook) and also share with friends so they can view or help collaborate with you on a trip.
I noticed that they updated their page today when I went to go look at something and they now do a running tally of how far and long you have travelled. Here are my stats for 2008 (I joined at the beginning of the year, but it also tallys all-time travel.)
2008
Trips 10
Days 52
Distance 30,289 mi
Cities 23
Countries 5

Hi,
My name is Angie and I work for TripIt. First of all, thanks for blogging about us and I am glad you like TripIt so much. Secondly, since you enjoy monitoring your travel stats, I wanted to let you know about the TripIt Blog Badge, which lets you post your travel stats directly to your blog. You can find the Blog Badge in your profile- just click the "Edit My Profile" link, and look under "Publishing Options".
Happy Travels!
Yikes!! You travel a lot but it's funny to see it all calculated like that. Craziness. LOVE your photos, Allen!
